Inclement Weather Policy
Wetlands Water Park will clear the pool and pool deck in the event of any thunder or lightning and remain closed for 30 minutes from the last sound of thunder or sight of lightning. The pool may also be cleared due to heavy rain which can limit our visibility.
We will make every effort to reopen our facility, however if the management determines that the weather forecast for the remainder of that day will not permit reopening, the water park may be forced to close. If we close prior to 4:30 pm, everyone who paid for that days' admission will receive a rain pass for the ticket they purchased. Your ticket from that day will be required to receive a rain pass. No rain passes will be issued after 4:30 pm.
Wetlands does not give refunds due to poor weather. Please check the weather for the Jonesborough area and if necessary call before driving a long distance to the park. 423.753.1553 You may also check our Facebook page for park updates.
Once Washington County schools begin, the park will be closed during the week and only open on Saturday and Sunday.
